This mini lecture zooms in on how the increasing case law on climate change before international human rights courts clarifies state obligations in this respect, and gives them more bite. This topic also allows us to discuss the de facto importance of international courts and their judgements in the development of international law, the possibilities and inherent constraints thereof.
Our BA in International and European Law allows our students to develop an understanding of legal systems around the world and how they interact, as well as the international system, the European integration process, and European and international law-making.
