This seminar is designed to describe the different issues around market access for trade in goods.

A critical aspect of a Free Trade Agreement (FTA) is the level of liberalization given by market access negotiations of tariffs and non-tariff barriers.

Explanations of tariffs treatments, TRQs, TRQs administration, and of provisions included in relevant chapters to promote trade liberalization. Techniques on market access negotiations will be provided, as well as examples of trade irritants occurring during the implementation process.
