14th International Conference on Biofuels & Biorefinery

This conference will assess key scientific and technological challanges in developing biofuels of the future. Leading researchers and industrialists will discuss these issues within the context of the current and emerging UK biofuel sector

    "Renewable, bio-based transportation fuels are dominated by production of bioethanol (in US and Brazil) and biodiesel (in Europe). TheUK is lagging behind international biofuel developments, especially with regard to production of fuel alcohols (ethanol and butanol) fromsustainable feedstocks such as lignocellulose. This conference will assess key scientific and technological challanges in developingbiofuels of the future. Leading researchers and industrialists will discuss these issues within the context of the current and emerging UKbiofuel sector followed by an open forum question and answer session". Meeting chair:Emo van Halsema, Halotec Instruments BV, The Netherlands   This event  has CPD accreditation and will have a  troubleshooting panel session.     On registration you will be able to submit your questions to the panel that will be asked by the chair on the day of the event   The Deadline for early registration is December 20th 2010   After this time the fees double, so make sure you register early!
