Focus of discussion during this conference include:

Role of youth leaders, refugees and migrants in discouraging illegal migration among youth in Africa. What are the reactions/suggestions of the refugees/asylum seekers, the civil society organisations, media and the policy makers on the issue of returning of rejected asylum seekers and reintegration?Climate Change and forced migration. How does climate change contribute to forced migration? How can refugees/migrants help?  How promoting gender equality and education of migrants can work effectively for integration and development, with specific references to activities of organisations that engage in promoting gender equality and education of refugees/migrants. Combating Discrimination through peaceful dialogue. Connection between discrimination and violence among the youth. Different types of discrimination and how to combat discrimination whithout discriminating. Where to get help in case of discrimination. The dangers of not reporting acts of discrimination and dangers of not seeking assistance. Participation of refugees and migrant organizations in development projects  Using development projects to discourage illegal migration?
