The World Solidarity Forum and ACP YPN: African Caribbean Pacific Young Professionals Network invite you to discuss development in the XXI Century!

The Global Strategy of the European Union sets out the need of a join EU strategy to support sustainable development worldwide to promote prosperity, peace and security. Recognizing and emphasizing interlinkages between internal and external policies of the European Union, especially in relation to the emerging complex realities, are fundamental if we are to solve the key challenges faced by the Union. 

When it comes to economic and social development, the community-need based support of countries in Africa and Asia-Pacific requires a thorough understanding of local cultural and political context, and thus calls to include diaspora into the conversation with the EU leaders in shaping how this engagement should look like. 

The conference will thus provide a platform for entrepreneurs, NGOs, academia and government to share perspectives on the role entrepreneurship can play in facilitating sustainable development, and discuss which instruments could further support the empowerment of diaspora to achieve the goals set.
