The 2017 Congress of the Italian Association for the Study of Pain is a very interesting opportunity for researchers and clinicians. The scientific program includes all aspects of Pain Medicine, from guidelines to clinical practice, advances in pain medicine, "meet the expert sessions”, updates about drugs and therapeutic modalities. The session "Advances in Pain Medicine" symposium will be a full day with a focus on clinical practice. During the different sessions, internationally renowned experts will present the most salient innovations in their fields of competence. One and half day is dedicated to pain nursing.
