The 58th Annual Meeting of the Society for Economic Botany (SEB) and the 2nd Hispano-Portuguese Meeting on Ethnobiology are an international joint event aiming at connecting economic botanists and ethnobiologists from all over the world.
It will be held in Portugal, in the city of Bragança,Trás-os-Montes, within an ecological and culturally fascinating environment.
The event aims at updating and strengthening networks between different research groups, experts, students and any people interested in interdisciplinary etnobiological approaches and Economic Botany.
Prof. Roy Ellen, Emeritus Professor in the School of Anthropology and Conservation at the University of Kent at Canterbury, UK, is our 2017 Distinguished Economic Botanist recipient!
