The RIM Plus partners and DG GROW invite you to the Sixth Platform Event of RIM Plus on Industrial Applications of Advanced Materials and Nanotechnology.

The focus of this event is to cross-link science and business in the area of advanced materials and nanotechnology to further enhance technological and commercial exploitation.

The event offers an excellent opportunity to learn about latest developments and current projects in this field and to exchange ideas and experiences with experts from different European regions.

The event is targeted at clusters (including company representatives), RTOs and regional authorities who recognise the importance of and are interested in joining forces in collaboration projects to develop industrial applications in areas of common interest that are based on advanced materials and nanotechnology.

Cooperation topics

The following cooperation topics for finding joint solutions developed by partners of the participating organisations will be discussed:

1.           mechanical processing of fibre-reinforced composites and hybrid solutions;

2.           production process of thermoplastics composites;

3.           textile reinforced cellular plastics and composites;

4.           manufacturing and processing of hybrid textile reinforced composites;

5.           functional composites and lightweight materials; and

6.           metal, polymer, and ceramic coatings.

Organisers aim to ensure participation of all individuals who wish to attend the event. Priority will be given to those who register early. Due to limited availability of places, we will not be able to accept additional registrations once the event is full even if this occurs before the registration deadline.
