Practical qPCR Workshop at Piran, the pearl of the Mediterranean coast!

The workshop will focus on real-time PCR in gene expression studies,microorganism detection, single cell qPCR, digital PCR etc. Extensive practical sessions will be located in ISO 9001 and ISO 17025 accredited laboratories.

The workshop is organised in collaboration with National Institute of Biology. The lectures and dry-lab hands-on sessions will take place at theMarine Biological Station (MBS) in Piran, situated directly on the Mediterranean coast. The wet-lab sessions will take place in ISO accredited laboratories of National Institute of Biology in Ljubljana which include state-of-the-art qPCR centre.Workshop Summary Location: Piran, SloveniaDuration: 4 daysLanguage: EnglishPractical sessions: Extensive practical sessions willl be located  in ISO 9001 and ISO 17025 accredited laboratories at the state-of-the-art qPCR centre of National Institute of Biology in Ljubljana (Transport will be organised and included in the workshop fee).Workshop will cover: review of qPCR theory, practical guidance on sample preparation and RNA quality control, amplicon design, quality assurance as well as hands-on lab and data analysis sessions.
