Mentor: Paul Ardeleanu, iOS Consultant, Developer & Trainer at Hello24Prototyping is an often misunderstood subject especially when it comes to mobile apps. It is frequently mistaken for wireframing or detailed project specifications.In this tech class, Paul will explore the tools and techniques available to create an agile prototyping environment where the client can participate to the process. We will take an app from the idea stage and progress it through the list of features, writing the Application Definition Statement (ADS), sketching, paper prototyping and eventually on something that can run on the actual device. Clients love that!Also, Paul will be discussing how to assert a “friend's idea”, dealing with troublesome clients and/or projects and handling miscommunication between developers, project managers and designers. As a exercise, he will demo one of the apps he uses as a training exercise when teaching iOS development - a simple Timers app. It starts from the idea and it ends up with a clickable PDF working on the phone.
