First joint international conference on Public-Private Partnerships (PPPs) in Ukraine.

The Institute for PPP and the Ukrainian PPP Development Support Center have the honour of welcoming you to a special international conference dedicated to public-private partnerships in Ukraine and Poland – countries which have much more in common than just the upcoming EURO 2012 event and a tremendous total population of 84mn people.Common for both Ukraine and Poland are also the high demand for creating and modernizing public infrastructure – i.e. roads, airports or energy facilities – as well as delivering high quality public services – for example in fields such as public transport, waste management, water supply, heating or healthcare.Whom will I meet?Conference speakers and delegates will be represented by governmental and local public authorities from Ukraine, Poland, Russia, the CEE countries as well as other European states. All of them are the very source of PPP projects as it is their role to launch PPPs in a variety of industry sectors and to prepare proper legal framework enabling this.PPPs are also of the private sector’s significant interest represented in large numbers by leading representatives from such fields as erection and engineering, finance, law and consultancy, energy, transportation as well as from other companies willing to play a role on the public investments market. The event will also gather participants representing i.e. international institutions and agencies, scientific and university centres or non-governmental organisations.
