Approximately 18 million tons of food is wasted each year with two thirds occuring before reaching the consumer. Most of this waste is attributed to damage to food and packaging in the supply chain. This conference will highlight key areas of damage and waste followed by recommendations and methods to reduce waste in the supply chain. Key players within the supply chain will share with the audience what they are doing to reduce food and packaging waste.
