This five-day summer course will provide a thorough overview of the constitutional and institutional law of the European Union after the Lisbon Treaty has entered into force. It will present the evolution and the constitutional foundations of the EU. Also, the tasks of the various institutions and their roles in the EU decision-making process will be examined.Special attention will be given to the work of the European Court of Justice, the system of judicial remedies and the role of the national courts.
