The European Union is currently preparing two new border management initiatives that will affect travel to most European countries: - the Entry/Exit System (EES) - European Travel Information and Authorisation System (ETIAS). The EES will register all non-EU nationals entering 29 European countries for a short stay: both visa-free and visa-required travellers.
