The Smart Networks and Services Joint Undertaking (SNS JU) is a public-private partnership established in 2021 to advance Europe's leadership in 5G and 6G technologies.
Its mission includes fostering technological sovereignty in 6G by funding research and innovation projects, and accelerating the deployment of advanced 5G networks across Europe.
The SNS JU brings together the European Union, represented by the European Commission, and the 6G Smart Networks and Services Industry Association (6G-IA), which comprises telecoms and digital industry stakeholders.
