NEREUS is the Network of European Regions Using Space Technologies, an initiative by regions across Europe founded in 2009.

Emphasis is placed on the use of space technologies.

The network aims to explore the benefits of space technologies for Regions and their citizens and to spread their understanding and applications.

It brings together 25 Regions in 9 European countries and a rapidly growing group of Associate Members ensuring a significant industry, SME and research representation.

NEREUS is a strong voice for the regional dimension of European Space Policy and programs as well as end-user needs.

It provides a dynamic platform and advocate for its members in matters of space to develop joint position, build strong partnerships and networking at European scale, facilitate the involvement in EU/ESA-funded activities, access crucial information in advance and provide enhanced visibility of the Region at European level.

Knowledge and ideas are shared through a broad range of Projects, Working Groups, events and activities.
