The Brussels based International Council for Human Development lobbies for international awareness and support for the people of South Asia in Europe, in cooperation with like organisations and with the South Asian diaspora world-wide.

Founded in 2005 by committed peace activists, human rights workers, and intellectuals, it tries to bridge the cultural and social gap existing among the South Asian expatriate communities in Europe, and to raise awareness of their issues in the European institutions.
