> HoNESt (History of Nuclear Energy and Society) is a three year interdisciplinary research endeavour.
> HoNESt's central objective is to understand how societies have engaged with nuclear energy, and how the nuclear energy sector has engaged with societies, and how this has changed over the course of the past 60 years.
> HoNESt mobilises an excellent interdisciplinary team involving key experts from 23 high profile research institutions.
> Based on a critical examination of past experiences, HoNESt’s results will contribute to a more reflexive debate on future energy sources and the transition to sustainable, secure, and clean energy provision in the future.
This project has received funding from the Euratom research and training programme 2014-2018 under grant agreement No 662268.
