The European Thrombosis and Haemostasis Alliance (ETHA) is an international alliance based in Brussels, Belgium, with member organisations in the field of thrombosis and haemostasis in all member states of the European Union (EU) and in the With a united focus on raising awareness of bleeding and clotting disorders, ETHA stands together to work with the public as well as decision-makers’ to provide input into EU health and patient safety strategies.

The focus of ETHA is to give the global thrombosis and haemostasis community a strong voice and to support funding for medical research that advances the understanding, diagnosis and treatment of bleeding and clotting disorders in the EU.

Established in late 2017, healthcare experts from various European research and health institutions came together to build awareness of these conditions that risk the lives of all people around the world.
