FRONT Association is a non profit organization established in order to promote and support the human rights, as a broad subject, but focuses on the women's rights and interests, by implementing gender equality projects, improving women's status and image in Romania and raising public awareness on discrimination against women.

Among its objectives there is also identifying and maintaining connection with similar organizations, nationally and abroad, through exchange of information and experience.

One manner that FRONT chose in aiming its goals is the grassroots activism.

This type of social activism is not highly visible in Romania, compared to other countries within the European Union.
