Highlights - Presentation of ECA Special report on EU bodies fighting fraud - Committee on Budgetary Control

This Special Report will be presented to the Committee on Budgetary Control (CONT) on 24 February 2026. The Committee on Civil Liberties, Justice and Home Affairs (LIBE) has also been invited. Contributions to the exchange will be offered by Piotr Serafin, Commissioner for Budget, Anti-Fraud and Public Administration, Laura Kövesi, European Chief Prosecutor, and Petr Klement, European Anti-Fraud Office's (OLAF) Director-General.Katarína Kaszasová, reporting Member of the European Court of Auditors (ECA), will present the ECA Special Report 26/2025 "EU bodies fighting fraud - Clear mandates but exchange of information and Commission oversight remain insufficient". This SR is intended to be a contribution to the on-going Anti-Fraud Architecture revision. Commissioner Serafin will intervene specifically on the progress of the on-going exchanges on such revision.
