This training is specifically designed for researchers, universities, and innovators aiming to secure funding for high-risk, high-gain research under the EIC Pathfinder scheme. It is also ideal for technology transfer offices, innovation managers, and EU funding professionalssupporting early-stage, visionary projects.

By the end of the training, participants will be able to:

• Differentiate between ‘Open’ and ‘Challenge’ calls to determine the best fit for their current research portfolio.
• Interpret the 2026 Thematic Priorities, including Advanced Materials for Energy Harvesting, Biotechnology for Healthy Ageing, and Trusted Cognitive AI (DeepRAP).
• Navigate the Evaluation Logic, moving beyond purely scientific excellence to understand “Portfolio Considerations” and “Impact” as defined by EIC expert evaluators.
• Identify Post-Award Pathways, specifically how to leverage Booster Grants to transition from lab-scale validation to commercial scalability.
