SEMIC 2026 is Europe’s leading conference on semantic interoperability and digital government, taking place on 30 November 2026 in Dublin, Ireland. Organised by the European Commission’s DG DIGIT and supported by the Irish Presidency of the Council of the European Union, this year’s theme is“Interoperable Europe driving competitiveness”.

The event will bring together policymakers, public sector leaders, interoperability experts, researchers, GovTech innovators and practitioners from across Europe. Participants can expect a mix of strategic keynote discussions and hands-on workshop sessions, all integrated into a single conference day. The programme will explore how interoperable data, reusable digital solutions and shared public infrastructure can help governments deliver better services for citizens and businesses. This is an in-person event and is expected to attract more than 500 participants.
