Mobility for Everyone is about making sure all people can access sustainable transport, no matter their income, location, gender or abilities. No matter if they are young, old, or not even born yet!

At different points along the life course, children, youths, adults, and older people face mobility challenges and obstacles related to their respective needs and abilities. EUROPEANMOBILITYWEEK encourages us to envision mobility, where transport systems are adapted to all age groups and fulfil the needs of current and future generations. Collaboration between age groups and the use of each generation’s skills and assets can make mobility more inclusive. The European Commission has published its Intergenerational Fairness Strategy as a result of a thorough co-creation process implemented over the past year.

In 2026, EUROPEANMOBILITYWEEK invites us to reflect on how mobility for everyone can support intergenerational fairness and collaboration.
