The JRC is organising the third Integrated Administration and Control System (IACS) Community Exchange Conference (ICE), in collaboration with the Commission's Directorate-General for Agriculture and Rural Development (DG AGRI) and the Bulgarian State Fund Agriculture – Paying Agency (DFZ).
The conference is a technical platform for sharing and discussing Member States’ experiences and best practices in the implementation of the Integrated Administration and Control System and its quality assessment.
The conference is only in-person and free of charge, with a maximum capacity of 400 participants. It will be held in English only and no interpretation service will be offered.
The ICE conference is an annual event where those working on the implementation of the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) Integrated Administration and Control System (IACS) meet to discuss technical matters and facilitate the sharing of best practice in CAP implementation.
The conference connects industry and research with national and regional paying agencies that are seeking innovative tools to implement the CAP effectively and efficiently. This is particularly pertinent given that we are in the fourth year of the current CAP cycle (2023–2027), as the debate on the next CAP has already begun.
The political discussion could greatly benefit from constructive contributions based on evidence and data gathered by the technical community over the past four years. These contributions could help to shape a policy with reduced burden on farmers and the national administrations, and enhance the sustainable competitiveness of the European agricultural sector.
Participants are welcome to propose contributions (oral presentations, posters and exhibitor stands) and discussion topics in the registration form. As the number of presentations will be limited this year to allow more time for discussion, we encourage you to present new and innovative contributions (research, case studies, data and services) that are relevant to national and regional implementing agencies.
Registration for the conference and social events is free of charge, but travel and accommodation are the responsibility of the participants. A limited number of rooms at the conference hotel will be available at a special rate. Please note that there are many other accommodation possibilities nearby to suit all budgets.
