The Intensive Seminar on the European Union is a two- or one-week training programme providing professionals with in-depth knowledge and practical skills on EU governance, policies and priorities. Participants can choose the programme that best suits their interests and needs.

Policies and Priorities Programme: A one-week programme offering a practical and insightful review of the main legislative priorities of the von der Leyen Commission and the hot topics at the heart of the European politics, as well as a deep-dive into the larger policy portfolios. This programme is aimed at participants who are well acquainted with both the institutional framework and the EU’s general policy area’s but are looking for the latest updates in the field, and especially on certain policies.

Through the Policies and Priorities programme, participants will have an opportunity to

• Analyse the Commission’s Work Programme and its main initiatives with high-level professionals and academics at the top of their field;
• Discuss the possible scenarios and directions of the EU in the light of geopolitical changes, and the EU leadership’s vision;
• Exchange with and receive input from EU practitioners and academics through workshops and panel debates;
• Live and learn in a multicultural environment;
• Extend their personal and professional networks.
