The clean energy transition is central to Europe’s energy security, independence and affordability. In recent years, the European Union has adopted a series of transformative measures to bring energy efficiency and clean energy solutions to every region, business and citizen. The Clean Energy Transition Investment Forum (CETIF) highlights the initiatives that are turning these ambitions into reality. Across Europe, cities, regions, companies, financial institutions, communities and citizens are driving innovative projects that demonstrate tangible progress. CETIF provides a unique platform to exchange this knowledge, enabling stakeholders to explore practical pathways to finance and implement an affordable, clean and inclusive energy transition.
CETIF 2026 will take place on 6 May in Brussels, in collaboration with the European Energy Efficiency Financing Coalition and the EU Covenant of Mayors. Building on the successful previous editions of the Covenant of Mayors Investment Forum and the wealth of initiatives funded through programmes such as LIFE Clean Energy Transition, ELENA, and InvestEU, the event will showcase concrete examples of how sustainable energy and climate adaptation projects are financed and delivered. With parallel practitioner‑led sessions and dedicated networking opportunities, participants will deepen their learning, connect with peers and policymakers, and identify actionable follow‑up to scale successful approaches across Europe.
