The signing of the EU - Mercosur Free Trade Agreement in January 2026 opens up new and promising perspectives for a deeply enhanced partnership.  

Building on the success of the inaugural 2025 Forum led by President Antonio Costa from the EU side, and on the landmarks of the bilateral cooperation, this edition will bring together more than 200 selected authorities, political and business leaders from Brazil and the European Union to discuss key levers to deepen the cooperation.
