Research carried out by Cedefop demonstrates that while the learning outcomes approach is rapidly gaining ground across Europe, the diversity of interpretations and applications calls for further dialogue and sharing of experiences.

The discussions during the conference will focus on the impact of learning outcomes-based curricula on teaching practices (in school-based programmes and company training) as well as on assessment.

Suggestions/lessons for the way forward supporting stakeholders and policy makers in addressing future challenges and opportunities in this area will also be presented.
