The March ENVE commission meeting will take place fully in person on Wednesday, 5 March 2025 from 11:00 to 17:00 in the room JDE 52 at the European Committee of the Regions, Rue Belliard 99-101, Brussels.

The agenda includes the exchange of views of three opinions: 1.
State of the energy union: getting prepared for a smooth implementation of energy transition in line with Fit for 55 targets by rapporteur Joško KLISOVIĆ (HR/PES); 2.
Climate Action implementation in view of the EU contribution to UNFCCC COP30 by rapporteur Nadia PELLEFIGUE (FR/PES); 3.
Designing nature credits: A framework to promote biodiversity and ecosystem services by rapporteur Rastislav TRNKA (SK/EPP).
After three exchanges of views there will be a Cross-Commission debate on Oceans Pact with the NAT rapporteur Mätta Ivarsson (SE/Greens).
During the afternoon, we will have a debate on Keeping ambition, boosting implementation: interinstitutional perspectives for the new mandate with Mr Antonio Decaro and Ms Valvanera Ulargui-Aparicio, Cabinet EVP Ribera, European Parliament ENVI committee chair and a Green Deal Helpdesk with Mr Emil Andersen, Head of Unit, DG ENV, European Commission, that will speak about the 2025 edition of the Green Week, focused on circular economy, and Elise Abbes from Climate Pact secretariat that will present opportunities for members willing to organise local dialogues.
