The European Investment Bank (EIB) and the CoR invite you to the launch of the 2025 EIB Municipalities Report, with new evidence on the investment needs from 1,000 cities across the EU.

The presentation of the survey results will lead into discussions on how to address cities’ investment needs, with specific focus on housing, sustainable urban development, climate neutrality, and resilience to crises.

Participants, including policymakers from the EU, national and local level will have the opportunity to discuss and learn about available support to cities in the current programming period 2021-27 and reflect on the needs for further support in the next MFF post-2027.

A specific focus will be on sharing know-how and learning from concrete experiences and good practices from cities that use support from EIB financial and advisory services to develop and implement urban investment programmes.
