The Polish Ministry of Family, Labour and Social Policy and the Central Institute for Labour Protection – National Research Institute (CIOP-PIB) are organising the OSH conference under the Polish Presidency of the Council of the European Union.

Titled ‘Building the Digital Future in Occupational Safety and Health’, it will be held in Warsaw on 3-4 April 2025.

The aim of the conference is to discuss ethical, social, legal and health implications of the digital transformation and its impact on the labour market, working conditions and the safety and well-being of employees.

The conference focuses on addressing the challenges brought about by digitalisation, such as automation, artificial intelligence, privacy protection and changes in the labour market structure.

A key element is understanding how legal regulations, technological innovations and social management can contribute to maximising the benefits of digitalisation while minimising its negative effects on workers and society.

EU-OSHA’s Executive Director, William Cockburn, will participate at the session ‘Ethical and Social Implications of the Digital Future’ while Xabier Irastorza, Senior Research Project Manager at EU-OSHA, will present the results from the ESENER survey at the session ‘The Impact of Digital Transformation on the Labour Market’.
