Net Zero is an incentive managed by Invitalia, a partner of EIT Manufacturing, designed to support large enterprises and SMEs in their energy transition investments.

It is aimed at businesses across Italy that invest in the production of batteries, solar panels, wind turbines, heat pumps, electrolysers, and carbon capture and storage devices.

The incentive also extends to companies within these production chains that manufacture key components or recover critical raw materials required for device production.

This initiative, financed by the PNRR (National Recovery and Resilience Plan) with € billion, is promoted by the Ministry of Enterprises and Made in Italy through the Ministerial Decree of 14 June 2024 and is managed by Invitalia via the development contract programme.
