From skills anticipation to skill action: findings from research papers

We are pleased to announce the first Skills Lab Network of Experts' thematic webinar for 2025, which will take place on 26 March from 10:00 to 12:00.

This event offers a valuable opportunity to explore the findings of joint research projects on skills anticipation and demand, conducted in response to the Network's 2023-2024 call for proposals.

  • Bridging sustainability and digital gaps in the agri-food sector: A study on skill needs among small farms in Serbia
  • Green jobs, skill needs and skill gaps in green economy: Evidence from Lebanon and Tunisia
  • Addressing skill gaps and mismatches in the emerging energy sector Ttransition
  • The transition to work and graduate qualification and skill mismatch: Case studies of Morocco and Serbia
  • Identifying sectoral skill needs: Lessons from Poland and Wales for the Turkish steel industry
  • Digital social entrepreneurship for young people in Albania, Kosovo, and North Macedonia

After an introduction by the ETF, the authors of each paper will share key insights from their research findings and participate in discussions moderated by an expert facilitator.

Participation is open to the members of the ETF Skills Lab Network of Experts.
