This event will provide an opportunity to learn about the NEB Boost for Small Municipalities initiative and its open call, explore its details, and engage directly with key speakers in a live Q&A session.
The NEB Boost for Small Municipalities is an initiative that supports small municipalities across the EU in developing projects aligned with the core principles of the New European Bauhaus (NEB): beauty, sustainability, and inclusivity.
Endorsed by the European Committee of the Regions and supported by the European Parliament, this initiative is linked to the European Parliament's NEB Pilot Project , which was initiated based on the CoR NEB opinion.
This opinion called for greater regional and local involvement in the NEB and highlighted the crucial role of small municipalities in achieving its objectives.
As part of this initiative, 20 projects will be selected and awarded for their innovative approaches to make communities more sustainable, inclusive, and aesthetically vibrant.
The projects can vary in nature, focusing on urban or rural development, community-based solutions or any initiative that aligns with the NEB's mission to bring more sustainable and beautiful spaces to life.
