The 2024 International Conference of Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) will take place at UNESCO Headquarters in Paris (France) from 17 to 19 December 2024.

Organized every two years, this Conference is a key moment bringing together the network of NGOs in official partnership with UNESCO: a network of 425 NGOs headquartered in over 70 countries across all regions of the world, maintaining a global presence through members, branches and field activities in several countries, and covering the entire spectrum of UNESCO's mandate.

Under the theme “Building Capacity for Action”, the Conference will focus on strengthening capacity for advocacy and partnerships, highlighting success stories while addressing challenges.

The Conference serves as a forum for exchange between NGOs in official partnership with UNESCO, to discuss and present mutual objectives, concerns and interests.

It is also a space for dialogue with Member States and their National Commissions for UNESCO as well as with other key partners of the Organization, welcome to participate as observers, such as intergovernmental organizations, foundations in official relations with UNESCO and other NGOs working on the Organization’s fields of competence.
