Participation in decision-making is a cornerstone of an inclusive, democratic society.

Yet, across the EU, migrants’ and mobile citizens’ civic and political engagement remains the weakest link in integration policies.

To address this gap, the Migration Policy Group has developed the Participation Policy Index.

This tool evaluates the policies of all EU member states across eight dimensions, including:

• Voting rights and encouragement to vote
• Access to citizenship
• Representation in political life
• Support for migrant-led civil society

During this webinar, part of our New Europeans Initiative, we will present key findings from the index, spotlighting leading countries, identifying gaps, and sharing inspiring practices.
