There is a constant need for innovation and modernisation in the justice sector as a whole; however, legal professions and national judiciaries seem to find their own ways to achieve better, faster, and more cost-efficient results individually.

This conference aims to gather the best practices of innovation introduced by the various legal professions in order to provide better access to justice for everyone, the delivery of justice of high quality in a reasonable time and efficient manner, and the better use of limited resources across the European Union.

Aside from the technical innovation, such as digitalising procedures, videoconferencing, and AI, there are many organisational and legal innovations suited to achieving this goal.

The conference aims to chart the current experience with innovation and deliberate on the future needs and limitations that require attention.
