The conference will focus on the regulatory dimensions of and key legal and pedagogical considerations for Artificial Intelligence and education.

What implications for learners? What implications for teachers and educators? How will it affect adult learners? Through this event, the Council of Europe seeks to formulate actionable recommendations for the development of a legal instrument that ensures the ethical, equitable and effective use of AI systems in educational settings.

 Key stakeholders from all across Europe and from diverse education settings and backgrounds will debate other relevant issues, such as AI governance in education, teaching and learning with and about AI, future-proofing education systems, and the idea of a European evaluation framework to assess educational technologies.
