The workshop will take place from 21 to 25 October 2024 in Shanghai, People’s Republic of China, and will convene representatives of five Member States previously supported by UIL and SOU in lifelong learning policy and strategy development. The aim of the workshop is to assist these country teams in evaluating progress and enhancing their policy and strategy ; The workshop will provide national teams with opportunities to exchange experiences, reflect on the progress and implementation of lifelong learning policies since previous workshop participation, identify specific barriers to policy delivery, and deepen their understanding of lifelong learning policies and flexible learning ; The overall expected outcome across Member States is the further strengthening of national education systems from a lifelong learning perspective.
