We are happy to announce the upcoming Challenge Lab Re:Generator – Regenerative Practices for Better Food and Healthier Lives!
NALED in cooperation with partners from the academia and business sector, is inviting students, researchers and startups to take part in the Re:Generator Challenge Lab, bringing together innovators to find sustainable solutions to produce healthy food and preserve health by applying practices to protect agricultural land from degradation!
The Challenge Lab is open for undergraduate and postgraduate students, early stage startups and entrepreneurs, who will work together to develop new ideas and solutions focused on one or more aspects of regenerative agriculture: 1) regeneration of soil and ecological resources, 2) regeneration of financial resources, 3) regeneration of human resources, 4) ecosystemic functioning with the local environment.
The Challenge Lab acts as a place to learn from the most important experts from the business community, share ideas and knowledge, and finally, compete to present the best and most efficient ideas and solutions!
What are the benefits?
For students: Opportunity to learn from the leaders of food and agriculture companies, presenting the current challenges in the industry and discussing potential directions to resolve them, mentoring by industry and startup representatives, opportunity for networking, opportunity for promotion to the wider community and of course – prizes for the winners.

Deadline for applications: 4 October 2024
TIMELINE
Interested participants can apply for competition from 17 September to 4 October. Applications are individual, with optional indication of preferred teammates.
The introductory workshop will take place on 9 October in Belgrade, where participants will be organized into teams and be able to learn about the most important aspects and challenges, and later discuss potential directions for the solutions with their mentor. Mentoring will also be facilitated online, in the period following the workshop (9 – 16 October).
The teams are expected to submit their solutions and presentations by 23 October, while the final pitching will be organized on 31 October.
