The City of Brussels is taking part in World Cleanup Day on Saturday 21 September 2024. Alone, in a group or with the sweeper, clean the streets of Brussels in a good mood!

This year, a Cleanup Village will be organised on the Place De Brouckère, by the Regional Waste Management Agency 'Bruxelles Propreté' and the Cleaning Service of the City.

On the programme (from 11.00 to 18.00): entertainment, children's games, concerts, awareness-raising stands on public cleaning, waste collection (cleanups), food trucks, testing of vehicles,... And between 18.00 and 20.00, there will be a closing party for all the Cleanup Day participants.

In addition to the Cleanup Village, the road sweepers of the Cleaning Service will be present at several other locations.

You will have the chance to meet them over a drink and take part in a litter pick between 11.00 and 17.00. Equipment will be provided on site (waste grippers, gloves, bags, vests).
