A discussion on sustainable water management in the Baltic Sea Region will take place during the Europe Forum and EU Green Week.

The event, organized by Centrum Balticum, will bring together several relevant projects funded by the Interreg Baltic Sea Region -programme and Policy Area Nutri.

Topics covered in the discussion include recovering safe water and nutrients from wastewater, implementing water reuse strategies, piloting alternative treatment technologies, and reducing flood risk through nature-based solutions.

By fostering capacity building, peer learning, and stakeholder engagement, this initiative aims to enable municipalities to better adapt to climate change impacts through measures focused on water resource management and infrastructure resilience.
