The Università Politecnica delle Marche with the patronage of the Municipality of Ascoli Piceno and Fondazione Marche Cultura presents "Museums and Universities: innovative practices for tech literacy, digitalisation and virtual realities", a multiplier event of the European project DCbox, of which the DICEA Department is lead partner within a partnership from five European countries.
The initiative also constitutes the fifth stage of the #DigitalEducationOnTour organised by the Marche Region, Fondazione Marche Cultura, Università Politecnica delle Marche and ICOM Italia to discover the museums of the Marche region to see in practice the projects in place and how digital is used in museums and cultural heritage.
The event was held on 13 November, starting at , inside the suggestive Pinacoteca Civica of Ascoli.
The conference will be introduced by Donatella Ferretti, Councillor for Education of the Municipality of Ascoli, Andrea Agostini, President of Fondazione Marche Cultura and Paolo Clini, Univpm Rector's Delegate for Cultural Heritage.
During the afternoon, Matteo Felicetti of Ascoli Musei will present the Project ๐ฉ.

Ramona Quattrini, Univpm professor, will present the results of the DCbox project, with a demonstration session dedicated to the prototypes developed by the students, under the supervision of the Distori Heritage research group of Univpm.
The aim of the project is in fact to train a new generation of 'Digital Curators', professionals in the field of Digital Cultural Heritage with high-level skills for the valorisation of heritage, especially in the field of digital musealisation, which has seen a significant increase in recent years after the pandemic.
Dealing with the building of new skills, the initiative was also selected as one of the events of the European Year of Skills.
To conclude, a round table will be held during which the curators and directors of the museums involved in the project will discuss the themes of the event: Stefano Papetti for the Civic Collections of Ascoli, Catia Amati for the G.
