The aim of the session is to two-fold: First, we aim to provide an overview of the developments around the Safety and Sustainability by Design (SSbD) criteria being developed by the Commission in the context of the Chemicals Strategy for Sustainability (CSS). Second, we will provide a full overview of the Commission’s proposal for a Sustainable Products Initiative and the potential impacts on the different targeted industries.
